Our Team Of Professionals
Dr. Jamie Rees
Dr. Jamie Rees is the Medical Director at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She has been practicing for 21 years and graduated from Colorado State University. She prides herself in always accommodating clients and patients with urgent, same-day needs, client communication, and building relationships with patients and clients. In her free time, Dr. Rees likes to spend time with her family, ride her horse, and spend time doing outdoor activities, such as hiking and camping.
Dr. Kirsten Jensen
Dr. Kirsten Zelda Jensen obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine as a Utah resident through the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine WIMU Program. Dr. Jensen was born and raised in Kearns and completed her undergraduate education from both Salt Lake Community College and Utah State University. Her passions and professional interests include animal behavior, cardiology, neurology, internal medicine, dermatology, the Human-Animal bond, and Pit Bill advocacy. In her free time, Dr. Jensen likes to be with her family, go on adventures with her rescued Pit Bull Talia, cross-stitch, play video games, and be involved in rescue organization events.
Brittany is our Hospital Manager here at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She has been practicing for over 16 years and attended Utah State University. Brittany prides herself in teaching other technicians the knowledge and skills they need to continue to grow in this field. In her free time, Brittany enjoys camping and vacationing with her family and four courgis.
TeAnna is one of our Veterinary Technicians at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She has been practicing for 3 years and went to school at Mountain Edge Vet Technology. She prides herself in her passion for animals, being sure to always prioritize them first. In her free time, TeAnna loves doing outdoor activities, such as fishing, camping, and hiking.
Veterinary Technician/ Assistant
Kierra is one of our Veterinary Technicians and Assistants at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She has been practicing for 4 years and went to school at Jordan Applied Technology Center. She prides herself in her ability to provide the best veterinary care possible and her gentle cat handling skills. In her free time, Kierra loves camping and hiking with her dog.
Tara is a veterinary assistant at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She has been practicing for over 15 years and went to SLCC while also completing the MATC vet assistant program. Tara prides herself in helping clients keep their pets healthy and to be the shoulder when it’s time to say goodbye. She also takes great pride in forming long-term relationships with our patients and clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, hiking, camping, and anything outdoors-related. She also enjoys art, such as painting. Another hobby that Tara likes to do in her free time is taxidermy.
Denver is a veterinary assistant at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She has been practicing for four years and is currently going to Penn Foster to become a veterinary technician. Denver prides herself in being able to restore the health of many patients. She takes great joy in seeing them when they are doing much better, knowing that she had a part in helping them. In her free time, she loves to read, play video games, going to the farmer’s market with her dogs, and spending time with her husband and friends.
Kaitlynn is a veterinary assistant at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She has been practicing for 7 months and attended Jordan Applied Technology Center. Kaitlynn prides herself in the relationships she builds with patients and clients, and doing all she can to help the patients. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors with her dogs, catching up on Netflix shows, reading all genre of books and working on her cooking skills.
Erin is a veterinary assistant at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She has been practicing for 21 years and attended Jordan Applied Technology Center and Mountain Edge. Erin prides herself in client education, her ability to help train others, and getting to know each pet and their owner. In her free time, she loves to listen to true crime podcasts, hang out with her family, bowling, and camping and fishing.
Moira is a receptionist at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She attended the University of Utah. Moira prides herself in showing as much empathy as she can to each patient and client and having a part in their well-being is a great feeling. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, yoga, soccer, and playing with her dog and cats.
Julia is a receptionist at Country View Veterinary Hospital. She attended the Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers. Julia prides herself in education about pet behavior and helping pets and people feel more comfortable. In her free time, she trains and participates in dog sports with her Pitbull mix and Catahoula which includes tracking, agility, GRC, and bamhunt
